Any rumors where he is close to signing? He's the best guy left in my opinion and I'd love to see a vet like him in Oiler silks.

  1. As long as he stays away from the Wings. i met he and his family a few times. he was not very nice. was rude to my 6 year old daughter.

  2. i heard he might go to europe?

  3. I heard he was in talks with Calgary. And possible Montreal.

  4. I've heard just some rumours.  The Canucks offered him a contract but he supposedly declined cause he wanted to go to a contender.  I've also heard some other rumours about Montreal.  I'd love for him to come to Canada also.

And Ryan...maybe you were a jerk to him.  If he was with his family, maybe he just wanted to be left alone.  He has a right to privacy regardless of your daughter.  Even though I've never met the man, I've heard many stories where he's actually a pretty nice guy.

  5. i don't think that the rangers are going to resign him. though i really like him as a player and as a person. if the rangers don't sign him i don't think that he will sign with another team, i think he will retire

  6. He's really fallen off since July 1st. I havent even heard a word about him on the rumor sites. I would love if he comes to NJ but really I just don't want him to go back to the Rangers. As more time goes on I'm thinking he will sign with them but I hope its not true.

Come on Shanny you started in NJ now finish there too.....

  7. Yeah, he is older and not as good and still wants what he would make if he was 7 yrs younger! Ask the WINGS... its the reason they let him walk away............

He can still produce, but isnt worth over 2-3mil a year!

  8. Last I read in a few days ago in a few different papers he was RUMORED to be interested in returning to New Jersey. I hope it isn't true though. I would LOVE to see him back as Red Wing though. New York doen't appreciate him; they want to minimize his role because they don't think he can contribute as much as he used to so he's looking around. He's knows he's still got it and he'll just take his talent elsewhere. Which is New York's loss and somebody's gain!
