  1. Oh yes, because the Penguins are THAT dumb to NOT sign there goalie who brought them to the finals.

  2. after the preformance he gave them in the playoffs they would be insane not to resign him becuse h**l i would want him back after that kind of year. Also no he is not the whole team it was a whole team effort that brought them to game 6.

  3. Problem is fleury is a restricted free agent

so you might see a dustin penner situation where a team way over pays for him and pittsburgh cant match the offer

i think they will do all they can to keep him tho

  4. They'll definitely *try* to keep Fleury; hopefully he'll stay with them.

  5. Well I think that the Pens will need to keep Fleury no matter what. I mean they have Malkin and Crosby and basically Fleury got them to where they did in the finals.

  6. I agree with Jeaner, but I think it would have to be an unreasonable, sickening amount to sway him, and the front office will fight for him if another team tries moving in.

  7. they better keep fleury, he took them to the cup finals.

  8. Fleury is staying in Pittsburgh. That is a certainty. The Pens will make him an offer, and he will sign, before the end of the month.

  9. Fleury is staying in Pittsburgh..he has a house here with his fiancee, the penguins organization would not let their 2003 first draft pick slip away, especially after posting a 24-3-1 record late in the season....he's not going anywhere. I expect him to sign a Crosby-like deal.

  10. Im a Penguins fan, Fleury will remain on the team.

I never knew the Penguins only had 3 players...

  11. Not a Pens fan (like them tho) but they will keep Fluery. He played the best in the playoffs and regular season and is still getting better. It would be crazy not to try to resign him. They will probably give him a big amount of money and lock him up for a while. They probably will over spend on MAF to try to keep him in Pittsburgh and keep him out of other teams.

  12. Well Shero will work on keeping Fluery and I think they will, but it is up to Fluery in the end. Anyway I wouldn't be sure about putting Malkin on that list. HEAR ME OUT. Malkin is great BUT just like before Crosby was hurt in the Finals he seemed to be trying to let Crosby do the work. He needs to accept that he is a star of the team and play like he can. It is really bothering me that he doesn't seem to play his best when Crosby is there. Maybe he needs to go a team where there is no established player yet, I'm not sure what the deal is. I'm sure some would say ohh it is the coach, but why the problems before Crosby was hurt with getting him to play to his talent and then with Crosby out he could? It isn't the coach it is an issue with Malkin and if they don't solve it this year maybe they need to let him leave.

  13. hopefully he will not "sit" on his offers...

  14. it would be absurd for the Pens to deal Fleury away. through much of the end of the season and playoffs, Marc-Andre was the best player wearing the Pitt colors. he is still young and will only get better. if Fleury is not in goal for the Penguins next season, i seriously question if the front office wants to win a cup.

  15. They will keep Fleury for many years to come.  He's still very young and they have years to mold him to even a better goal tender than where he is at right now.  Plus, I think they will be keeping their whole bunch of young stars (Crosby, Staal, Malkin, Fleury) because they are roughly around the same draft and are 1st rounders (specifically 1st or 2nd overall).

  16. hes staying. he did so good in the playoffs, they would be retarted not to keep him

  17. First off I want you to hear me loud and clear bucko.....FLEURY CROSBY AND MALKIN DO NOT MAKE THE TEAM!!!!

What about Marian Hossa he had more goals than anyone on the Penguins by the end of the playoffs?

What about Petr Sykora? Without him we would have never won game 5, same goes with Max Talbot.

What about Adam Hall who had two very important goals in the finals?

What about Jarkko Ruutu who's annoying presence helps us out a ton, and scores very important goals when need be?

What about Sergei Gonchar who leads our defenseman with points?

What about Brooks Orpik who had those monster hits in game 2 I believe it was?

What about Ty Conklin who taught Marc-Andre Fleury to be better? HMM?

What about........see do you realize now?

I want you to get over MAF, Sid, and Gino and realize the team is full of valuable men.

Now about Fleury.......The Pens WILL try and sign him, but that doesn't mean he's staying. Someone might give him an offer we can beat.
