Any Plans tipped to win Williamhill.com Stakes
Any Plans is tipped to prevail in the Williamhill.com Stakes at Newcastle in England on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The winner of the Grade A1 event will be given a cash prize of £118.
A total of six quality hounds have been attracted towards the 480 metres flat race, which is scheduled to start at 13:58 GMT, and their names are as follows: Any Plans, Droopys Gianni, Locnamon Crash, Cee Bee, Cashen Zoey and Yahoo Murroe.
Looking at the overall statistics of all greyhounds, the bookmakers have decided to give the best odds to Any Plans, as he seems to be in good rhythm at the moment. His recent form is also good, which will definitely encourage the punters to place the maximum
number of bets in his favour.
The J. Wright’s trainee has got plenty of experience and is a regular at Newcastle, which means he is fully aware of the conditions at this venue. He will definitely make things difficult for his rivals in the race today.
The black dog has managed to win once out of his past five outings, which shows that he is in decent form at the moment. He ran well in his most recent race as well and finished runner up in it.
Any Plans was not rated favourite back then, as he was up against some very good runners. Despite that, he gave a tough time to his rivals and ended up in a very good position. However, he was unable to make a big impression on the race winner, finishing
behind him by more than one length.
Today’s favourite hound is the son of Droopys Kewell out of Killough Belles and was born in June 2009.
The bookies believe that Droopys Gianni has the potential to fight for victory at Newcastle today. He does not seem to be in good form, but has got the experience to match the best in the business.
A clear run might see the J. Wright’s trainee finish on top of the table in the race. However, he is not carrying good momentum at the moment, as he ended up fifth in his most recent run.
It appears that the rest of the runners might struggle to push for victory in the race, as they are not in very good form.
