Any Possible Reason For Why Mount Olympus Is Home to Zues?

I always assumed it was because Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece.

It's the highest mountain of Greece (also one of the 50 highest of the world) and even in summer the top of the Olympus is snowy and hidden by clouds. Also now there is a big wildlife there, so imagine thousands of years ago how much wildlife Olympus had.

So if you were an ancient person who see on the top of the biggest Greek mountain clouds, thunders, etc etc you wouldn't thought that Zues lives there?
