And yet I can't help but suspect that there are going to be quite a few neighbourhood polling places in Detroit, Chicago and New York, Alabama perhaps and almost certainly New Orleans where things may not go as smoothly as hoped.

Disenfranchisement worked once before and I'm sure most Republicans would agree with the old adage

                           If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

and they just might try that one again.

I've seen blogs with "proof" of alien abductions and 9/11 conspiracies..  I didn't put much faith in them either.  You need to find a credible source and try again.
