  1. If your daughter is staying with you on Fridays, and she is not with you the rest of the week....

    Then get off the computer.

    Watch a movie..... together.

    Play the Wii...... Together.

    Play the Xbox....... TOGETHER.

Play a board game, read a book, or even play on the computer, but whatever you do, do it together.  She will not be 'bored', and she will have a great time.

  2. Because you have such limited time with her, try not to be on the computer when she is around. Do activities together. Cook, watch a movie, play a game

  3. Rent a dvd.

  4. Not sure what age she is... What about cooking together?  or doing some drawing?  or playing I-Spy?  or having a conversation - fantasise about where you would go on holiday if you won the lottery or ask her about her favourite people? Try and have fun!

  5. Rent a movie,

    see a movie,

    miniature golf,

    arcade,

play hide and seek (Never get to old for that),

    play indoor or outdoor tag,

build an indoor sheet fort and tell scary stories,

    paint,

    color,

    make cookies or cake,

    do a puzzle,

    play a  board game,

    read together,

draw and write your own book,

    pillow or tickle fights,

Spend time together!!!!!! Have a great time.

  6. I suggest you take some time to distance yourself from caps lock and spend some time with her. She's come to see you, not play computer games.

  7. Maybe play games with her. Even though she says she doesnt mind that your on the computer she probably does. Children need attention, even if she can keep herself content for awhile when she says she is bored why not take a break and play with her. Make playdough and give her some cookie cutters and kitchen utinsils to use with it. Not sure on her age, but if she is telling you that she is bored she must be at least 5...So what I do with my 4 year old is give him some flour and water and a BIG mixing bowl and let him dump some in to make a "goup" to play with. Although its messy it entertains him for at least a hour!! Let her color, draw, and play with paint if you have it. You could rent her a movie but chances are if she is bored she may not want to be sitting down watching tv. Ask her what she would like to do. My boys also like to "wash dishes" in the sink. I just give them dish water and plastic things that they can play with. Its messy too, but what I have learned over the years is that the things that make the mess are the ones they most enjoy. I dotn mind cleaning up the mess as lomng as they help me aftrwards. Good luck!

  8. I agree with all the above suggestions.

    Play a game together.

    Dance together.

    Have fun together.

Ask her what she wants to do.

    Watch a movie.

Play Wii together. Kids love to play with their parents and win and show them how to play games.

    Have fun.

  9. Rent a movie and have a cozy family night.

  10. Invent your own board game together, and then play it.

  11. Get to know what she likes and try to incorporate it!

  12. Bake a cake -  I do it with my mum and love it!

Watch a movie - Find something you both want to watch and have a cozy night in.

Get a take-away and play board games - so fun for her

The main objective is to SPEND TIME WITH HER. Even if it is playing a game with her on her Xbox

  13. my daughter is 9 and she really doesnt care what we do as long as she gets her time with me, having a 3 month old son  it is difficult sometimes to make time, but  i like to let her pick a movie (even if ive seen it 100 times already and want to scream just seeing the cover lol)  pop some corn, or  some carrots and dip or some other munchies and curl up on the couch and watch tv.  we also have perler beads that she really likes to do, you can make alot of different things with them, it allows them to explore their creativity and lets you spend some quality time together. just about any kinds of arts and crafts or games. but you definitely cant entertain he sitting on the computer   (yeah im here too...daughter is visiting grama just across the  yard :P) most kids dont care so much what they are doing as who they are doing it with.
