Any Suggestions for how to get guys in my school to play volleyball?

Im 16 and ive played volleyball for a year. Im an all around athlete that starts on my basketball and football team, but i had nothing to do in the spring so i started volleyball. In my school volleyball is considered "g*y"(i dont mean to be offensive).

Is there any suggestions to help me get other kids who play sports and do nothing in the spring to get them to play? I really wanna have a decent team next year.

Maybe you could get a team but put up posters for it to be a fundraiser . each player gets sponsers and the guy with the most gets a BMX or whateva

we have the same problem at my high school. so, this year, we went around with shirts saying "how hot is a girl in spandex?" on the front and on the back it said "if you think it's hot, tryout for volleyball, the girls will come". in the previous years, only about 30 people came, this year, there was almost 75 kids there and we had enough boys to have the only freshman team in our league for almost 20 years. many of the kids that got cut didn't feel bad, but expressed interest about trying out again or for club. good luck with your season

make it a co-ed team and lots of guys will probably try out!!

if they think it is g*y they probably havent even tried it teel them there are lots of girls who love volleyball so they might be more interested in them

Send out an email that has a picture of a beach with hot shirtless guys playing beach volleyball with hot girls around. Then suggest a 'boy vs. girl' game. Have a few girls tease the guys "you just know we'd whoop you!"

guys have never liked volleyball at my school either, they all go to the girls games to see the girls in tight spandex, but lately we've been playing volleyball in pe classes, there have been about four guys come up to me and challenge me and our teams best player to a match of volleyball with official rules, of course we are going to win but the guys realized that volleyball is a lot of fun and a lot harder than they ever realized.

tell the boys that girls love guys who are volleyball players. volleyball players are just as amazing athletes as football and basketball players so there's no shame in a boy playing it.
