Any Suggestions for some good books to read? Help please!?

I just read the article "Is google making us stupid" and i realized how i have changed, in my reading habits and in my ability to pay attention. So, i am trying to get back into reading. Are there any suggestions to some good books i could read?

    Dragons in our Midst series. (4 books)

    Harry Potter series. (7 books)

    Nancy Drew series. (like..........52 or so books)

    Twlight series. (4 books.)
