  1. I've only had the chance to read The Crying of Lot 49 thus far, and I really liked it.  Not sure which one to tackle next, but I definitely plan on picking up another Pynchon book when I get the chance.

  2. I love him - Gravity's Rainbow was fantastic in its hallucinatory impressionism, loved Crying of Lot 49. Against the Day was a bit of a disappointment, but I still liked it.

  3. I've only read Gravity's Rainbow by him, but it was good. Took a while to get through though..

  4. I'm about to make my second pass at Gravity's Rainbow. I tried when I was pregnant, but I don't think I had enough blood going to my brain to grasp a Harry Potter book, let alone Thomas Pynchon.

The Crying of Lot 49 was fantastic, as was Vineland. Gravity's Rainbow made me feel incredibly dumb though. It's just so bloody dense.

I've just finished reading Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood which may become my new favourite book. You should give it a go if you ever get through your current project.

Good Luck, hopefully we'll see you on the other side in a few months.

  5. who just kinding but no me.
