  1. Have Fun. Be yourself. Middle School was the funnest time of my life!  Don't worry if you dont know someone in everyon of your classes, you'll make friends very easily! Good Luck

  2. Middle school is awesome! I started middle school (sixth grade)Monday. Don't listen to people who say it's like "A harder fifth grade". It's soooo much cooler!

    * friends: Friends change in junior high. Some in a good way, some in a bad. I had one friend who I knew since 1st grade. She never told a soul about me, so I told her everything. The other day I heard stuff about me that I've only told her! But someone like my friend Javona changed in a good way. She's MUCH nicer now!

    * organization: Get one of those big white binders and get POCKET dividers. Then get a folder for every class. The binder is for notes and the folders are for paper work. (homework and classwork)

    * dating: We haven't started "dating" yet, but boys do ask girls out. Then they're "going together" which really means they talk to eachother a lot and they can't like someone else.

    * boys <3: Boys will be boys! They're the same in middle school as in elementary, BUT middle school's are usually bigger, so there's a lot of cute and nice ones. It's only my 3rd day there and I've found so many guy friends. Trust your instincts! I'm a boy addict! Ask ANY of my friends! Ever since pre-k boys were my world. So I've gone out with a lot...some were jerks, but some were the nicest boys ever!

    * popularity: So you're kind of popular already. Try to make as many friends on the first day as possible! You don't seem shy, so talk your head off on the first day of school!!!

    * style: Middle school boys LOVE the preps. I talk and look like a prep and guys just pour in. Like I said I've gone out a lot!

    * classes (specially gym i have no clue what to expect):

    F/C Science

Really easy! And pretty fun! You get to cook, sew, and other cool things!

    Gym

If you're a tom boy it's easy. If not... I'm not and I absolutly hate it! Thank god my dad knows my gym teacher! He gives me good grades no matter what! Same as fifth grade though. Maybe just bigger gym.

    Art

    Same as always.

    Chorus

Expect much harder stuff. Before all you did was memorize a song. Now you have to learn the notes and stuff.

    Band or Ocherastra

It's cool. Just like an after school activitey.

    Cool Clubs!

  3. :-) No worries, I just started middle school (7th grade where I am) and I was just as nervous as you are right now.  I guess all you need to remember is to take a deep breath and relax! That's the biggest thing.  Also, to avoid getting lost, you might want to find a school map and find all your classes and the easiest route to get there.  In your classes, try finding people you know to feel more at ease.  If you don't know anyone, it's fine! Just find an empty desk and sit there - you might meed new people!  Write down everything you need to know from every class and you're good to go!

  4. Well I am going to 7th grade and last year was when I started middle school. All I have to say is be yourself!

  5. just be yourself and hang out with a lot ofdifferentt people set at different lunch tables and minge

  6. Don't get lost .. try finding someone who's in most of your classes so you don't get lost..

  7. Just be yourself! I remember my first day of middle school. It was nothing special, nothing to be nervous about. We just were introduced to our homeroom teachers and classmates, had an assembly, and spent the day getting to know each other and learning the rules.

If you don't know anybody, or even if you do, introduce yourself to other people. If your sitting at a table with people you don't know, break the ice by asking "what did you guys do this summer?" or "what schools did you go to last year?" You can never go wrong with that!

Wear whatever you want. Don't worry about standing out too much or fitting in. Being yourself and wearing what YOU want is so much more important. Seriously, have fun and don't be afraid to dress a little crazy!

Actually listen in class and remember that your teachers are there to help you. If you have a question, ask. Middle school teachers are a bit tougher than elementary school teachers, but they'll still be happy to help you out.

Don't worry about the older kids at school. You'll probably get a lot of stares and glares on the first day, but so will everyone else. People are interested in who the new students are, and you may hear them complaining or talking about you, but don't worry about it. :) They were in the same position as you just a year or two ago.

And last but not least, try to have fun. You'll adjust to your new schedule, classmates, and school very quickly, I promise! And remember, everyone else feels the same way as you do, even if it doesn't seem that way.

  8. Lol I'm going to 8th grade XD. Be yourself and dont be like "Hi" to everyone you see because it might annoy them.

  9. tips:

-wear a coat of mascara and lip gloss. it looks fresh and cute. if your mom doesnt let you wear mascara, buy a clear mascara. it doesnt blacken ur lashes, but separates them!

-always wear acessories with your outfits. this includes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, scarves (fashion scarves, not winter ones), watches (white watches are in), headbands, etc

-always pack some mints in your bag, and brush your teeth before you leave to school. (boys hate it when you have bad breath!) i like to bring tic tacs and stash them in my locker.

-also have a locker mirror in your locker to check your hair, makeup and other things.

-drink lots of water- its good for your skin and heath.

-make sure to have your nails painted, or completely clean. no chips. i like white nailpolish, but black is in too.

-lots of girls will wear converse. perfect!

-stay focused in school. look over what you did in class everyday after school. it will help when you have tests!

-get a body mist like Calgon. spritz a little on, and youll smell awesome. buy a nice one like a fruit one, or vanilla.wear it everyday so it will be your signature scent.

-wear deoderant before and after gym class!

-keep a hoodie in your locker, so if you ever get cold, put it on!
