  1. 1. signal

    2. drive next to the car ahead about a foot away from it. You rear bumper should be about a foot ahead of the other car's rear bumper

    3. put it in reverse and start cranking the wheel to the right while you SLOWLY angle in

    4. the trick is - when U R about half way in, crank the wheel hard to the left

. your front bumper should narrowly miss the other car's rear bumper

and you should glide right in. You may have to pull forward.

U should be about a foot from the curb and centered front to back.

It takes practice. Once you learn it, it is easy.

Trick - if this is a street lined with stores, you can use the store windows as a mirror to make sure you don't hit the  other cars.

  2. Go to a large parking lot.  Put your arm up on the seat back, look back through the center of the car, and practice backing up.  Drive all around that way, getting used to it.  Rest--it's tiring.  Do it some more.

  3. I am dead serious when I say this, but

get 3 toy cars. Arrange the 2 so that there is a spot in between it. Then pretend to drive the 3rd car and take notice of how far you have to be from the front car, how far you have to be from the spot, what angle you turn in :)

  4. if i was you i just not parallel park
