Any acting advice? BTW, I'm from the bay area!?

hello my name is eddie and i was wondering if there was any auditions in the bay area. I really want to get into acting but i do not know where to start. i have had acting experience in school plays and i went to an acting camp about 2 years ago. if you could help me, that would be great. by the way i am 15 years old, but i look about 13.....is that a good or a bad thing.....???? thanks :)

  1. it's a good thing, because you can play younger kids but are more mature  than them! :) if your serious about this, i would recommend taking some more classes, getting a resume (ahh, can't find accents on the keyboard but you know what i mean), and a headshot, involving yourself in some more school plays and community theatre to build up your resume, then getting an agent to set you up with auditions. you will get rejected 99.9% of the time so just be prepared for that. good luck!


  2. Just keep on doing what you are doing. Keep getting in those community/school plays and build up an impressive resume. When you have a decent sized resume getting a professional headshot. Try to look online, in a big city where you live there is probably some auditions that you could fit into.
