I have oily hair and I wash my hair about 3 times a week. Recently I have been going out a lot and because of the pollution, sun, sweat, my hair really becomes messy and dull. Which shampoo and conditioner can I use on a daily basis? (Indian brands please or any brand available in India)

Any suggestion is most welcome...

Thanks

  1. aveda makes great products although i am not sure that it is available in India.  A clarifying or detoxifying shampoo once a week is good, the other washes during that week should be with a clear shampoo.  Rule of thumb: If a shampoo is cream colored or simply not transparent it tends to have more moisture in it.  So the clear shampoo will help to cleanse your hair more.  You don't want to try to "dry out" the oils in your scalp and hair, that will just send your scalp into a survival mode and it may increase oilyness.  When you condition, keep it to the ends.  The hair closest to our scalp is the healthiest and really doesn't need much moisture.  Hope it get's better!

  2. i suggest u to use DOVE conditioner.apply egg leaving the yolk part of egg at every week end.do not rub u r hair with towel when  it is wet.use hair dryer

  4. oily hair is good because it gives shine to your hair but if you feel its not good anymore try to wash your hair daily.. use shampoo and conditioner alternately. for example MWF- shampoo THS- conditioner.. or you can also use fresh milk as a conditioner.. washing your hair or taking a bath everyday will not only make your hair out from dirt but will also give you fresh and clean feeling.. :)

  5. dear lady

never get misguided by the Brands, Imported or any thing. shampoo is  a shampoo

it contains what it contains in any others.

so don't get misguided by a flashy ads or commercials.

use aloe-Vera before you shampoo. it really helps not only getting rid of the extra oil but also in getting out your dandruffs, lice (if you have them) or any skin infections

    Take care

    bye.

  10. dont use conditioner every time you shower...also use products with very few additives that are greasy and weigh down the hair. Pantene Pro-V is terrible! You can find things at your local health foods store.

  11. iv really oily hair too and i end up having to wash it everyday. so i did a lot of research on the ingredients of all the different indian shampoos. and here's my verdict (drum rolls please!!) :D

use biotique's shampoo - the green apple one or the other one, both are good. They're entirely natural. not even a chemical preservative or colour or fragrance (my skin is super sensitive so i have to read my product labels a lot) They do not use sls or anything, so they hardly foam but they give you clean, normal, non dry yet non oily hair.

i dint like himalaya's shampoos because the fragrance in their shampoo is a scalp irritant.
