i have a 9yr old daughter who seems to always ruin all of her clothes. she has left pns in with her laundry and it bleed on everything so we had to get rid of them and clothes are not cheap. i know that kids grow fast anyways and make messes but she seems to always ruin them no matter what. she has cut holes in her jeans before on purpose and etc. now she keeps getting bleach produts such as dish wash soap and bathroom cleaner. we have switched to the new non bleach or chemicals but the dish washer soap still has bleach in it so she has bleache a few shirs after she dedicated just one shirt to cleaing that CAN get ruined. mmy question is school is coming up and i am not sure i want to buy her more clothes but i know that she will need more probably since she has ruined like every shirt any suggestions on what i should do?

  1. Go to a thrift shop/Salvation Army/Good Will type store.  Kids are messy and grow fast, so why spend a ton of money on clothes?  You can get cheap clothes at thrift stores that are still in good condition.  If she earns an allowance, make her help pay for the clothes, maybe she will be more careful.

  2. make her wear the clothes she ruins. make her patch up her pants. its not funny, clothes do cost a bit. if she wants to design it, then she can wear it.

  3. Buy her cheap ugly clothes from a thrift shop and make her wear those until she learns to take better care of her clothes.
