sooo i love food! cookies! popcorn! french fries! pop! etc....but i know they are all bad for me! but i just cant stop eatting! i want to go on a diet and really want to loose weight. the thing is....im a picky eater! as in, im a vegetarian, so i dont eat meat, i dont like most vegetables, i dont like beans, etc. so dieting is always hard, cause the healthy food is the food that isnt tastey to me. so are there any foods that are good for you but good tasting too?

and also, about how much should i eat per day? im out and about a lot, so i dont really have time to shop and cook all day.

  1. ok.you should eat 6 meals a day.I also don't like veggies but you can eat it with apples which are tasty.and drink lots of water to supress hunger so you dont eat snacks in between.dont eat after six and exercise.eat grapefruits too.but not alot.eat everything to a minimum and you'll get full quick if you eat slow.plus have hope and motivation.gd luck!!

  2. You should be eating around 1500 calories a day to lose weight, and you should be splitting it up between as many meals as possible (5 or 6) to keep your blood sugar nice and level.

Also, vegetarian who doesn't like vegetables or beans? This does not sound like the way to a long and healthy life. You are going to have to change either the not liking vegetables and beans or the vegetarianism (preferably the first) if you want to see 50.

Also exercise. We know, its boring its expensive to do anything remotely fun, and it hurts. Its still by far the best way to get a slim and healthy body.

  3. I'm in the same boat, except, I usually take the easy way out.  I have the time to cook nutritiously but usually don't because my family wont eat it and then I have to cook two different meals, and theirs always looks better, so I end up giving up.  I am not a vegetarian, I don't think I could ever give up meat.  I guess in your situation, you just need to carry around a cooler.  If you like dip, you can make a easy homemade french onion dip fat free.  Just remember it still has calories, but you can dip veggies in it.  and you can get the veggies prepped, cut and cleaned already at the grocery store.  you take a packet of french onion soup mix and about two cups of fat free sour cream and mix and let sit for a while.  couple of hours is usually enough.  Then keep it chilled in a cooler or lunch bag and you have a snack that has dairy, which has protein, and your veggies.  also, in the mornings you can make yourself a protein shake, frozen strawberries, fat free yogurt, milk, and a special k protein water packet, not the water but the mix.  and blend,.  It tastes good and has about 20 grams of protein.  Good luck, and you need to eat less than you burn to lose weight.

  4. Try shifting to another dish like Chinese food! Most of chinese food are vegetables.. ok u don't like veggies but they have lots of varieties that are tasty and less oily..also try sushis, noodles, sweet n sour fish and the like.

Eat all u want juz balance with exercise.

  5. Sounds to me like a sugar/fat diet... vegetarian who does not like vegetables? No wonder dieting is hard for you, you have nothing left to eat!

You should really see a nutritionist to help you find a balanced diet.

  6. My advice? Don't. Go to rehab.
