Well this is what i tell myself for the first day and the rest of freshman year.

-Think of it like this. Try to make your first day great. You dont wanna be a loner and come home and have to do it again the next day cuz u didnt make any friends the first. I will make friends even tho im soooo shy just so i dont have to go through it again.

-Stay outta drama. Dont do anything that will cause attention to yourself in a negative way. Have fun. Do your work these 4 years of your life is the key to your future.

im going to be a sophmore at Reno high

some say it will be the best 4 years of your life others say worst. ^^ YES! dont get to distracted by the boy drama or the girl drama lol ;) do your work and have fun...youve prolly heard about the trash canning and fresh meat c**p...ignore it...it wont happen, i promise

dont get into trouble and be yourself, i mean dont try and be what everyone else is.

Well the only tip i would say is don't get caught up in the boy drama. Boys will distract you at lunch, in class, and after school. Stay focused!!! And have fun!!!! Make mistakes and learn from them. Thats what freshman year is all about!

I think it is better to be yourself. Also sense of humor would be helpful to get friends... :)

ok so i'm a freshman too, but here's my theory: remember how nervous you were on the first day of sixth grade??? Then you look back and think, "wow, I was overreacting!!" i think it's kinda the same now... so don't get too caught up in anticipation. be prepared, be courteous, and be yourself!
