Question:

Any advice on a family holiday in Northern France?

We are planning going to Picardy near Normandy with keycamp at the end of August. We have one baby and one toddler, any advice r.e. weather, surroundings or anything really would be much appreciated!

  1. in Picardy we dont have the sea, and the weather is fresh and british. but surely on august will it be ok


  2. There are some great places in Picardie, a very historical part of France.

    You must go to visit "le chateau de Chantilly",  one of the most famous and beautiful castle in France.

  3. Well there's the beach a little farther north.  There is a waterpark that's fun for children in Le Touquet which is a seaside resort (website below).   And then there's Disneyland Paris if that interests you.

  4. I suggest that you nip into WHSmith and buy a copy of the Michelin Green Guide to Northern France and the Paris region. It will give you all the information you need about the area.
