Any advice on convincing my parents to let me go dirt biking?

I want to go Dirt biking with my friend but he said i can go with him but my parents dont really want me to go so if u guys have any tips that i could say that might change their mind that would help tonnes

im having the ame problem right now. ive tried almost every sport and none of them are for me. right now im just trying to let them know thaqt im serious about this. i found that theyre more likely to say yes if instead of asking can i have a dirt bike, ask can i start dirt biking. let them know about the safety gear, and do a little research. tell them you want to start of with a lower speed bike. and move your way up from there. it seems to be working for me so try it.
