Any advice on how to get along with my roommate?

How can I get him to like me? How can I get him to hang out with me? I'm a g*y male with a male roommate.

I assume that your roommate isn't homosexual.  Heterosexual guys don't "hang out" with homosexuals.

Treat him more like a friend rather than just a roommate.  Be social with him on a daily basis.  Pull the "my stuff is your stuff" offer.  If you and your other friends are going out one night casually ask if he wants to join.
