  1. I breastfed all four of my kids exclusively for the first 6 months, didn;t wean until 13-14 months....

You can increase your fluid consumption, that helps.

Sounds like a growth spurt...to encourage more milk production put him to the breast more frequently, use both at a feeding, 10-15 minutes first breast then switch to the other for no longer than 1/2 hour...the extra breastfeeding will stimulate milk production as it is a supply & demand thing..the more you nurse the more milk you make-when my kids hit the 3 month growth spurt it seemed they were permanently latched on (lol)..my son I dubbed the Barracuda as he was nursing almost every 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours...as soon as the b*****s met the demand he will calm down and feedings will stretch out...make sure you alternate the starting breast at each feeding and don't let him nurse too long-he can irritate the nipples that way...good luck.

  2. You must make sure you are drinking enough (LOTS of water) and eating properly.  The more you nurse your child the more milk you will produce.  Feed him more frequently.  If you can not produce enough milk then he may need formula bottles to supplement his diet.  As he grows he will need to eat more to be full.

  3. You just need to keep him on the breast longer or if he's hungry 15 minutes later, feed him again.  The best way to increase your supply is to have your son nurse or pump.

If he's not satisfied from one breast, you may need to offer him both. When he goes off, perhaps it's not because he's done nursing, he could just need a break and a burp.

I would contact a breast feeding clinic or latch leauge in your area, they will give you loads of tips and tricks to keep him satisfied.

    Good luck!

  4. Make sure you are getting enough rest

Avoid stress (yeah, I know, lol)

Try taking Blessed Thistle along w/ the Fenugreek and up the dosage

    Drink plenty of fluids

    Eat oatmeal daily

Make sure you are getting enough (healthy) calories

Pump after he eats or pump on one side while he eats from the other (try to trick your body so that it thinks you are feeding 2 babies)
