  1. if you son can tolerate milk based formula whole milk will not make him sick.  Start giving him whole milk or Soy milk if you feel milk makes him sick.  Mix them and slowly give more milk than formula.

  2. I bought these sipper tops that went inside the bottle ring and replaces the nipple.  This  way at first they still have a bottle but without a nipple on top.  They look just like the mouth piece on the sippy cups and I got them at Kmart.  My boys didn't like milk in a cup either so I added just a tiny bit of strawberry quick to it.

  3. You need to just pack up all the bottles and put them out of sight and out of your own reach.  It sounds harsh, but it will cause your son a lot less anguish than always going back & forth with bottles and sippy cups.  They make soft-top sippy cups as a transition.  Just get some of those and remove the bottles completely and he'll forget about them in no time.

This worked for our daughter and she was off bottles totally by the time she turned 14 months.

  4. my son did the same thing. He not only rejected the bottle but also milk as well. this is normal for this age, you can take him off the bottle entirely and until he gets a taste for milk again, supplement with yogurt, cheese, and chocolate milk. Thats what I'm doing.

  5. both my sons at one year, drank from a cup......i threw out thier bottles that day so i couldn't give in. After a day or two they were fine to drink out of a cup and preferred it over the bottel

  6. Is it milk in the bottle or formula?

If its formula and you want him to have milk start switching it by doing 3 parts formula and 1 part milk. Until you have totally switched it out.

I would get a soft spout sippy cup. This way there is some comfort that the bottle gives but hes transitioning to a sippy cup. Once hes accepted the sippy cup with the soft spout, he should be accepting of a regular sippy cup.

  7. Have you tried a sippy cup?

  8. Same thing with our son we tryed a straw to make it fun for him and it worked but all children are different so youll just have to find out what works for your child
