Any advice or pointers?I'm trying to write a touching story to a television show and the news, please help!!!

My mothers best friend of 12 years is battling a recurrence of breast cancer. The first time she had kimo for her cancer was years ago, her hair fall out and my mother told her if her cancer ever came back and they had to do kimo my mother would shave her head. Well now its back ad my mothers gonna keep her word.

My mothers best friend is a very caring, loving, mother of 4, bus driver who loves children and a giving person so i wanna get this story out. I want donations, but not donations of money donations of PRAYERS!!!!

I really want to write into a televison show and the news but i dont know where to start. I just need a start and im sure i can do the rest.

please help me!!!

I am a journalist, in another country though, but just find out who your local media are - radio, tv, daily newspapers, community newspapers, magazines.

pick up the telephone and ring them, ask to speak to the chief of editorial staff or the chief reporter (different countries have different terms, but you want to speak to the person who is in charge of assigning the journalists with their stories).

just tell them what you have said above .. there's really no need to write a letter or a story yourself. it's all self-explanatory and very powerful as is.

umm maybe if you go to the website of your local news channel you can find out a telephone # or even a email address but that is all i got and she will be in my prayers :-)
