I am thinking about redecorating my room. I can't do much. However my parents are allowing me to go paint my bookshelf. (which is good enough for me right now XD) We are going to go buy the colors to paint the bookshelf today in the afternoon (morning right now). I was wondering what colors to get? (not sure how many limited can get so list is unlimited right now)

I am a hyperactive girl however i HATE prep/girly girl. Is there anything which would match me?

First, I would consider what other colors are in your room:  color of walls, furniture, bedspread, curtains, carpet, etc.  The bookcase could either be the same as one of those (take along a sample when you go to the paint store), or a coordinating color.  You could of course always go with a neutral color like ivory or white but from your description I suspect that is not what you have in mind.  Second, and equally important, think about your favorite colors.  Chances are you already have those in your room so the choice is probably not going to be very hard.
