Any advice taking metrolink (ventura line) to burbank airport?

is it one stop from van nuys stop to the burbank airport stop on the ventura metrolink line? or do you need to go to union station to get to the airport? how hard is it to get from burbank airport metrolink station to the airport terminal? what do you do and how much time should you allot? thanks

The metrolink inbound to union station will stop at Burbank airport first. the Burbank airport metrolink station is right across the street from the airport. I've heard that there's a shuttle service to the terminal from the station. If you're travelling light, it's about a 10 minute walk to the airport.

both Amtrak and metrolink will stop at the Burbank airport

now note that if you are traveling to/From Burbank to/from Union station

you can use  metrolink ticket on *any* train going between those

two points (ie you can take amtrak from Burbank

to Los Angeles or metrolink (which ever comes first

but you cant use a metrolink ticket on amtrak anywhere else
