Any advice/tips on how to maximize space in my apartment?

I have a one bedroom apartment. It seems like I don't have enough space to put away everything. In other words storage! Any tips or advice? Thanks

Use mirrors facing horizontal. That would give the illusion of bigger space. Or get a big wordrobe with a mirror in to keep your personal belongings in and also keep the big room effect

an entire wall of floor to ceiling shelves and storage bins.  use nice bins for a decorative flair...   leave some shelves open for books and nik-naks..

There are some great storage bins on wheels that fit under the bed where you can store out of season clothing or whatever.  And there are sweater or shoe hanging bins you can hang inside the closet to give you more room.

Go through your closet and eliminate anything you don't wear anymore.  The rule is if you haven't worn it in a year you're not going to wear it again-----so toss it.
