If I were you, I'd post a want ad on craigslist.  They have a metro detroit location and you might even find a "for rent" that fits this description.

CraigsList would be one source (Flint is a choice).  I did search homes and condos for lease in the area, least expensive was $775 per month.

You can also try http://www.marketplacedetroit.com/  look under real estate in the center of the screen and then for apts/rentals link.
