An oil (24x30) portrait of Dr. Raphael Pazo in full dress uniform as Black Watch Piper on the Isle of Skye. The details on the uniform and pipes are daunting.

i paint and gild, and i'm working on an abstract piece now too, still in the sketching planning stage though my canvas is prepped and ready

Right now I am working on a psychedlic inspired painting with peacock feathers wrapper around a human body, and the mixture between humanity and nature. And the conflict between the two. I'm using no blacks, nor whites. Just colour, and I'm trying to make a subject that is usually very black or white, very in between. I like my paintings to be intepreted either way. So.. yeah thats it.

I recently completed a portrait  and am now working on another. While i normally try to stay away from painting celeberties i took on a commission to paint a portrait of Willie Nelson the client wanted from an old and damaged collectors print in his collection.  I also wanted to try something new in terms of technique that i felt would allow me to cut down on the amount of time it would take to paint it. I've put in approx. 40 hrs into it...another 10 or 15 and it will be done. It will be posted on my art page at hellosanantonio.com under artist name GUERRO1 along with some of my other work.

I paint, right now I'm working on an a picture of a building in Italy with acrylics.

For inspiration I usually look at other people's work.
