  1. Art comes and goes.

Art is produced almost entirely too easily when the artist is in the throes of any particular emotion.

Producing anything between the emotional periods is completely difficult and the works are very often very contrived.

  2. you cannot be taught creativity, what is creativity?

creating something you like, something people like, something you can earn money from....

    its down to the individual

creativity is like a weed, not planted, not grown, not nurtured well in some cases yes, but, usually its a gift,

out of 10 pieces you will probably get one that is real good, but who is the judge? the audience, the PR and marketing team etc

  3. First, I have to see something I like or that interests me.(when I write, i need to be in the mood.)

Then, i helps to set the tone. If it is raining, I might open my window or even it is sunny. Whatever fits the mood of what I'm writing.

Older writers need things like alcohol or cigarettes but that is more of a preference that isn't required. Mine is usually tea(iced tea or iced green tea)

Then I just stare at the keyboard  and before I know it, the words in my head are flowing onto the screen.

  4. If your creative, your born with it, you just feel inspiration. You cant just create a certain way, you can only do it your own way.

  5. I write anything down that gets my attention, even if it's only one word.

I also have the attitude that my subconscious mind will come up with what I need, when I need it, and now it generally does, quite rapidly. But sometimes it comes up with something unexpectedly, so I have to be prepared to get it down.

I also learned to brainstorm, and not to criticize anything at first.

  6. creativity is really about thinking outside the box, going over the limit then what is being asked for. at least thats what i think about when choreographing a dance.

  7. I daydream alot

Its how I got ideas for my story

Although I've never finished anything yet

    =D

  8. I am a songwriter. I believe that it is something y are born with. If you have a creative soul it will come naturally. I mean I can go and sit at the piano, hear the song i want to play in my head and my hands will just play it.

I believe that wrks with artists too. They see it in their head, feel it within their body and then their hands draw it.

  9. There is an area in the right side of your brain that's responsible for creativity. I believe that some people are born with better developed creative centres if you will, than other people.I've always had stories and characters in my head as far back as I can remember. However, all is not lost! Ive tutored a few kids in English and I believe that any creative centre can be tapped into, once the person gets to write about something they are passionate about. My advice is, find something that takes you on an emotional roller coaster, that excites you and gets you thinking and you WILL find your creativity! good luck!
