Any babysitters out there....?

Question

How much do you charge as an hourly rate...?

Do you take any little nick-nacks for the kids...? if so what...?

I work with kids and now for a lil extra money am doing occassional babysitting.. just curious to what others out there do...

never offer snacks unless the mom approves due to allergies, also you should check around your area how much do other babysitter's normally charge, I would not go under 7 per kid per hour but maybe you can go higher.

It all depends where you live how much you charge.. I know where I live people charge alot. Some charge 45-50 a day for one child and then ad on like 5 dollars a day for each additional child.

If I am babysitting at someones house I dont take anything with me because the kids already have all of their own stuff to occupy them .. you can play with their toys with them and play games like hide and seek and do crafts and stuff with them.

about 7 bucks an hour

usually toys and games are brought by the kids themselves

u can share some of ur old toys with them

i babbysit my cousins, so we share everything

I charge 6 dollars and hour for one child 8 dollars for two and 10 for three. After three my rate stays at 10. I do like to bring toys or games to play with the children but it depends on the age. Little kids 4-5 games like shoots and ladders are fun, dolls trucks and building blocks. If they are al little older you can bring some computer games, but make sure that they are okay with the parents first.
