Any big, unique party theme ideas?

I need unique party theme ideas - nothing like heaven and h**l or 007 that have been done a thousand times before please! It's gotta be something biggggg! Thank you so much x

No party-idea is really unique .. it's all been done before. And even if you find one, that hasn't been done as much as 007, it'll still be done 1000 times after your party, they'll talk about your for a couple of days at school, but the next weekend, someone will throw a party with an even better idea, and no one but your closest friends will remember your party. I'll let you in on a little secret: they'll remember no matter what, but not for your theme - they'll remember because you were there :)

Because .. you know what's unique? YOU are!

- What are your interests? What do you want to be? What are you really good at? If you really want a theme, that's where your best ideas are: your life.

Themes can be fun, sure - but they can't save a bad or even a mediocre party.

I've been to theme-parties and to normal grown-up's parties, and when I think back, the best parties I've been to, have been about the people, about being together and about enjoying good food and good company. The theme, or lack thereof, have not been material ..

The Arabian Nights theme sounded good ...  You could drape sheer fabrics around, with tassels;  and stacks of giant pillows to sit on.  Deep jewel colors, with golden and brass accents.  Pier One would be a good place to look for things .... candles in brass "Aladdin" lamps... genies

You should do like neon stuff. Get a bunch of neon streamers/balloons or whatever. I've never seen a prom with neon colors as the theme [:

The guys have to dress like girls and the girls have to dress like guys.It has been done before but it is kind of unique. :D

try a swapping gender party

guys come as girls

and girls come as guys

but they have to act and have the behavior

of there character

have a spa party.  either rent a dayspa and let them provide the services or create your own at home...

you can create great invitations with the spa menu listed.  if it is only women coming make it really girly and fru-fru but if it is a co-ed party, keep them cool and neutral so you won't scare the men.

the menu can include: 15 or 20 min chair massages

                                  express pedicure and manicure

                                  mini facial with avocado mask

                                  parafin hand treatment with hand and

                                  arm massage

                                  hand reflexology

                                  music therapy

                                  art therapy

or anything else you can dream up.  serve a spa menu of healthy appetizers and "healthy" sounding drinks, alcoholic or not.

set candles around, dim lights, the options are endless.

It all depends on what the party is for. You can have a :

Great Loves throughout time

A mascarade party.

Come dressed as your favorite sports star.

A toga party( not so unique but always fun!)

Have a BIG theme---like big buildings, big bugs, big teeth anything BIG!
