  1. Yep, it's a real company.  They're kind of into buy term, invest the difference, sign up your friends and relatives to be salespeople, also - kinda like the tupperware of insurance.

  2. Yes.  The life insurance is sometimes a little more expensive than the cheapest stuff out there, but you also get a few benefits they typically don't offer (Guaranteed Renewability to other term product within the same class.  Useful if you have a family history of an uninsurable disease).

To the first poster, it is $99 now and that goes to help offset the costs of the Life/Life & Health license as well as the Series 6 & 63 FINRA exams.  Typically $1k or more combined.  And name one company that is not a pyramid.

  3. Yes, Primerica, is a legitimate company, they work with stocks and bonds and insurance.  In addition to selling their products, they also sell you the dream of oportunity, so if you want to purchase the product is ok.  but i will suggest you not to fall for oportunity of being your own boss and all that stuff it kind of works like a pyramid scheme, although it is not a scheme. it demands you of a lot of your time and also they charge you like $200 dollars to get a kit.  The products are fine to answer your question.
