Any body know how you go about getting a bar job on a cruise liner?

If you are in the UK, you could contact P & O.  Their offices are in Southampton.

If you look on www.catererglobal.com.  It advertises all jobs round the world including cruise ships,hotels everything. you just have to enter what your looking for, where and for whom you want to work. or just put in what job you want and leave the rest blank..it'l bring everything up for you. hope this is of some help. good luck in your job hunt!!

i would recommend Fred Olsen so send an email to them and they may post a form you can fill in and email back to them

If your a good bar tender, apply with the cruse line you wish to work for. Don't waste your or their time unless your are an above average bar tender.

Its not easy, the pay is good but the working hours are long and getting in is tough

There are plenty of hotel jobs with live in accomodation onshore, I would recommed applying to one of these

Look up P&O cruises they are in Southampton, Princess cruises also come under them. They only advertise about twice a year though. Ring them first for an application form. If you get an interview you have to go to Southampton and if you pass you then have to have a marine medical which costs about 60 quid. I think they are situated in London and Preston only.  Then if you work for Princess you'll need a visa for the USA cruises.  Bartender pay on Princess is approx $800 (£400)  a month but it's enough with tips and you've no other living expenses, plus on your days off you get to go on exotic beaches which must be fab in comparison to this bliddy rain in the UK at present.

Look up companies but they wont employ british crew, they only want phillipino or indian crew.

See the citizens advice now before it is too late.

How can you predicct you are going to be homeless?

If so then how can you afford internet?
