  1. Contact one of the many Floridian University Anthropology Departments...

  2. You may also want to check out Passport in Time at http://www.passportintime.com - it is a volunteer archaeology program run by the Forest Service.  The website lists the different volunteer opportunities they have available in each state under the 'current projects' link.  Good luck!

  3. Your best bet is to contact one of the many archaeological societies in the state a list of which you can find here-

    http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/flarch/fllinks....

OR you could go to archaeologyfieldwork.com They have a board for posting volunteer opportunities. They may have one listed. Also if you live near the University of Florida or Florida State you can get in touch with the anthropology department and see if they will take volunteers for field school.

    University of Florida- http://web.anthro.ufl.edu//

    Florida State- http://www.anthro.fsu.edu/

    Good luck!

  4. I don't know for sure if the hyperlink will help, but their website may get you started in the right direction.
