If you want a tale of REAL unconditional love (I adore Twilight too, but the only condition there is the fact that he is a vampire--how real is that?), read The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.  Allie loves Noah unconditionally, even when her status in society tells her that she cannot. AND Noah loves Allie unconditionally even when her health deteriorates and she no longer knows who he is.

but beware as even though these seires are located in the 'young adult' section of the library and bookstores and such - - - meyer never intended for anyone who is under 18 to read it.
