Any business insurance data vendor that tracks accidents reported by a business owner?

I want to find a data vendor where I can buy a report on a specific business owner to see if the business owner has a history of accidents at their place of business.

  1. Likely, you're not going to be able to do that.

    The data collector is called, Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange, but the information sharing is limited to participating insurance companies (but virtually all insurance companies participate).  

    So yes, someone collects this data - but it's still private information, and you won't be able to buy it.


  2. That is privledged information.  You will only be allowed that information if the business wants you to have it or gives permission to release that information to you.  If you are looking to see what the business history is, you need to look up their business license, contractor's license, better business bureau, and the likes.
