I'm almost 30, will be going back to college after long illness/absence and am totaly unsure of what I want to do with my life. I met with a guidance counselor and took a test-useless. Anyway, breaking it down, I hate science, can't do math-have math dyslexia,no to medical tho I know it pays well. I love the academic subjects psych. and sociology but that's maybe too much school, too much work (P.h.D). I love to study people, not necessarily to help them, i.e social work or therapy (sorry). Love the subject of public relations (propaganda), media, advertising, etc. but you don't make much in those fields as I understand. I want a practical, good paying, application of the fields of study I mentioned but w/o the long time at school if possible, or better still an actual career using these fields instead of just being an academic expert, know what I mean? Would journalism or Law be possibilites? I know this is a tall order. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

  2. Many colleges give a vocational interest test which has been of benefit to many./

This test will also tell you the fields related to the areas that it has selected.
