Question:

Any chance my male and female percula clownfish will breed?

both of them also live in a decent sized bubble tipped anemone in a 34 gallon hex tank. will they breed? and if so, what should i do? i also have a five gallon quarantine tank i use.

  1. yes,most likely they've paired up.keep an eye on the rocks around the anemone.the clowns will make a nest, lay the eggs,and take turns cleaning the area.don't do anything,they'll do all the work.however,once the eggs hatch,you could transfer the larval clowns to a rearing tank,and start feeding them rotifers,once the yolk sac disappears.get a good book on clownfishes.or research online.joyce wilkinsons clownfishes is a good start.good luck.
