  1. This is pretty funny.  I assume that you know that Rocky Balboa is a fictional character portrayed by the actor Sylvester Stallone and Mason Dixon is another fictional character portrayed by the current IBF light heavyweight titleholder Antonio Tarver.

There were rumors that George Foreman was coming out of retirement again, but that was back in 2004, and I remember seeing Larry Holmes on Friday Night Fights, saying that if George really does come back, he would be ready and willing to fight him.  Holmes has always wanted to fight Foreman, and to this day, he still calls him out and says that he would fight him tomorrow if the chance came, to prove that he was/is the better fighter.  Foreman said that he was serious about coming back, but his wife put a stop to it.  And Holmes has not fought since 2002 when he won a decision against "Butterbean."

The only thing that you said that is remotely relevant to REAL boxing currently, was "the state of the heavyweight division is in turmoil."- I agree with you on that point.

  2. That last Rocky flick was actually good, and as a result, I forgave Stallone for making Rocky V (the only Rocky movie I can never watch again).  I think that another movie would be way over the top, unless Rocky was a trainer or something.
