Any chance that there will someday be a VCR/Blu-Ray HD combo player on the market?

There is a possibility it might happen but since Blu-ray, HD and DVD are taking over it might not happen since the demand for VCRs and tapes are becoming less and less.

If it was going to come out, it probably would have already.

Why would anybody want that?  The VCR is already dead.

A Blu-ray / VHS combo makes no sense ... why match low-SD and high-HD quality together?

On the other hand a Blu-ray player/recorder or even a Blu-ray player / D-VHS recorder combo MAY be a possibility.
