  1. nope doubt it sorry, just buy a preowned ps2..  i dnt see the big deal.. ive gt da 60gb which allows backwards compatibilty.. and do u wanna knw hw many times ive played a ps2 game?.,.. NONE.. they look c**p compared to ps3 games, if u wanna play erm, get a ps2

  2. Well to be honest the days of backwards compatibility with the 40gb and the 80gb are long gone. So sorry to say no there will not be one out there . I bought the 60gb when it first came out.

  3. I know you cna get the 60GB Pre-owned at Gamestaiton(you havnet mentioend which part of europe your from)

Though i dont get why folks who compalin about BC cnan jsut use a PS2, most people wh o have PS2 gmaes have a PS2, its not liek peopel buy PS2 gmaes for the h**l of it, so it shoudlnt matter too much.

You cna pick up a Preowned PS2 Slim for £35, thats less than a brand new game.

  4. The only ones that DON'T have BC is the 40gb, the newer version of the 80gb and the new 160gb. The 20gb {which doesn't have a lot of features and is out of production}, the 60gb {not in production} and the older 80gb version {which still is in production despite how I said it was older} all have BC. I suggest getting the 60gb because the 20gb lacks a lot of features while the 80gb uses software emulation which is software designed to be compatible with PS2 games but the 60gb has a chip {Emotion Engine} which is a lot better because it can play ALL PS2 games while the software emulation can only play about 70%. To see what games are good on the 80gb version go here http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/Co... But you can still get PS3s in Europe right? So then just ask if they have a 60gb or 80gb {older} PS3 or if worst comes to worst, a 20gb.

  5. Sorry, but chances are very low. Sony already had stated that they're shifting their attention from PS2 to PS3. Besides it's Sony's way to reduce production costs. If you have friends in Eastern Europe you can still buy PAL 60GB (in Moscow they're still available). Or, if you've got friends in US, get one from there.
