Any cheerleading/poms tips?

I'm starting Pom Pom Dance Camp today at 9:00 A.M.

Does anyone have any tips for me?

I'm only 13, but I am trying about for the cheer/dance squad at my school this fall, and I want to prepare myself.

I'm going to wear my hair in an updo with a blue ribbon, navy blue eyeliner, dark pink lip gloss, Victoria's Secret Pink blue striped hoodie, sweater

Where should I practice?

What kinds of rountines do they do in Junior High?

What time should I practice?

How should I practice? (Should I watch a cheerleading video that teaches you the steps, practice my rountines, or practice yelling out the cheers?) My final performance is on Friday, I need all my answers by this Thursday. I'm going to wear a Victoria's Secret Pink navy blue striped sweater, my hair in an updo with a navy blue ribbon, Victoria's Secret Pink navy blue signature fit cropped sweatpants, navy blue eyeliner, peach lip gloss, white socks with blue embordery, & white low cut Sketchers.

  1. Just be yourself and have fun!

Practice in front of a mirror or practice your routines with your friends.

You can use the music you used for practice or you can choose something similar.

I think you might be wearing too much, you might want to take off the sweater.

I think your hair & makeup sounds great!

You should practice at home in a large room so you'll have room to dance.

You should practice whenever you have time.

    Maybe at 3:00 - 4:00 P.M.

You can watch a video about hip hop dancing too if you want to, but make it from 5:00 - 6:00 P.M.
