"East Timorese fugitive, Alfredo Reinado, says he will personally seek out those behind last year's violence if the government refuses to negotiate with him immediately.
The former military police chief escaped last August along with 50 other inmates from an East Timor prison.
He was being held on charges of involvement in a wave of violence that killed 37 people and drove 150,000 from their homes earlier that year.
Major Reinaido says East Timor authorities must meet with himself and his followers as soon as possible, so that problems can be resolved.
He says if this does not happen he and his followers will capture the perpetrators of the crisis last year."
