Question:

Any colored contacts that you can't see in line of vision?

In the past, I've used Freshlook brand contacts.. their Radiance line, which is sort of just color enhancing (i've worn moonlight and eden). I loved the colors, but the problem is that when it was a little darker outside (not bright daylight), I could actually see my vision clouded around the edges by the color from the contacts. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, have you found any types/brands of color contacts that don't cause this to happen?

Thanks!

  1. That is a common problem with colored lenses. At night your pupils dilate  more than during the day, so that happens.

It's the most common complaint about the colors...sorry , they all seem to do the same thing. The clear center is the same size on them all. If it was any bigger , it would look weird during the day when the pupils are smaller anyway.

  2. You could try a color enhancer like Acuvue Colours Enhancer.  This type of contact doesn't have a pupil in the lens, instead the whole lens is tinted.  You won't have as dramatic of a color change and your eyes may not look as natural.  Also Ciba Focus colors are similar.  Go ask your eye doctor to show you some choices and they'll get you fixed up!
