Any comments on this poem please?

Question

Flame

The war,

the economy;

filtered news

shadows my world

and gives me the blues

till I wake and realize

that life really is good

as seen through my own eyes

rather than an interpretation.

Now, I rely on my own

determination

to be positive in a world

that wants to feeds me

upon its garbage.

It is said we are what we eat,

then

let me feed upon the goodness

that still burns inside of man,

and carry that flame,

that torch,

that hope.

The first three lines where music to my ears! Anything of that nature sings the nature of my paintings.

That poem is really Good i love it ha ha its brings up how all the bad things in life cant have control on us we cant let it bring us down and how if we cant really do anything about it  then we need to make life worth living and in joy what we have in our liefs like family and love and all the things we have or what we were blessed with which is a Way better attitude because what is the point in grieving its just wasting you life away and i know that when something bad has happend to you its easy er said then done but  i really like the words that you used to describe everything it painted a beautiful pitcher in my mind thanks for the wonder full poem if you wanted to thought try and  make it just a littler more deep but its is pretty much perfect in my  opinion

yes if you stick your head in the sand you're find ignorance can be bliss. i'm not saying you shoud take the Weigh of the world on you're shoulders, just do what you can stand for what you believe in.
