  1. Axiom speakers are very nice. Everywhere on the internet people have been raving about them. They are undoubtedly one of the best bangs for the buck.

The M50 incorporates titanium dome tweeters which is a definite plus. The low weight, high rigidity and heat tolerance of titanium makes it superior for high frequency reproduction with no ringing. Far superior to soft dome or aluminum tweeters in my opinion.

The woofers are aluminum so you will have a high stiffness to mass ratio. They also dig fairly deep for only a 6.5" driver. I would say they are a little shy in the low end though so coupled with a nice subwoofer you would get the best result.

One thing I like about Axiom is that you can choose between a slew of finishes. You can go with the basic vinyl or upgrade to real wood veneer. Real wood adds a nice level of sophistication to any speaker.

If your plan was use these with a good sub it might be better to go with the M22 v2 bookshelf speakers. They are nearly identical to the M50's except in the low end due to enclosure size. Their frequency response is nearly flat from 80Hz and up. You could upgrade to real wood veneer and be under the price of the M50s.
