Any complaints about Wellness GRAIN FREE Wet food for cats? ?

We have chosen to feed our new cat Wellness Grain Free Wet Food after a lot of research on the web. However, our vet has said that she sees a lot of cases of urinary tract infections which may be attributed to to richness in this food. Thoughts?

Dunno, I feed wellness and have had no problems, my vet puts that food down as well, all vets want the pets to be on science diet, because they get a % of every bag sold, feed your cat what works well for them, my mother in law feeds Royal Canin and has had no problems either, so................

There are many many claims that Wellness causes Urinary tract problems. I myself had 2 cats get UTI's and stones while eating the food. But there is no proof either way. *shrug*  

My best advice to you is to offer constant rotation of accepted canned foods that your cat enjoys. If you do this, and allow your cat the same assortment they would have in nature when eating mice, bugs, birds and rabbits, your cats’ digestive system won't be so sensitive and you won't have to run around looking for a specific brand when your store is out. It will also prevent one food that is missing something to be cancelled out by a food that may have more of something. You will have a nice variety to choose from instead.
