Question:

Any connection between Deborah Jane Palfrey and Brandy Britton besides their obvious relationship?

What is the actual likelihood of these two women committing suicide before any of this has gone to trial? Anyone else wondering if some of their high-profile, high-power clientele have a few things they'll go to any length to hide?

  1. "I guess I'm made of something that Brandy Britton wasn't made of."

That's a quote from Palfrey.  It doesn't sound much like someone who would then go do the exact same thing, in the exact same way (both supposedly hung themselves).

I can't say they didn't both commit suicide, but this is pretty fishy and warrants an independent investigation into both deaths.

  2. That is the first thing that I got on my mind when I red today's news: this is no suicide! There is note, but who guarantee this is not extorted? Society is still not perfect, and rich/powerful people can play even with other people's  lives, or this is just coincidence that another high-profile prostitute committed suicide!?

  3. I find it extremely interesting that these two women were never linked until today.  How is it that there was never any reported connection for both of these relatively high profile cases until now?  Wouldn't the media, who completely destroyed these women with their incessant reporting of EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of their respective lives have reported on this connection earlier? Sounds like something was amiss.

  4. There is definitely a connection.  I haven't worked in law enforcement as long as I have to not see what was going on.  You don't threaten to reveal names of high powered politicians without putting yourself in the bullseye.

Many powerful people knew that there was still evidence undisclosed, and they had to take measures to keep it quiet.  I pray for the safety of the other girls involved.

Wasn't it Vince Foster that committed suicide by hanging, or was it a bloodless "self inflicted" gunshot wound?  I forget...

  5. Excellent question Bridey..and now with the madam of DC's death we have a sad, sad story of two beautiful women that just...could not...handle their "shame". Tsk. Tsk. Such a lost. A certain "coup" for Evangelicals.

Funny how we haven't heard a peep as to who their clients were....I wonder why.

Laws? Our country has laws? Law text for all:. It is only used by the rich and powerful to nail the innocent they need to get out of the way,  those that are expendable, and those that are collateral damage that can send a message to others...ergo:

Congress & Company  will never change because of it.

  6. It's kind of obvious that it could be murder by someone who wanted either women to keep quiet. Both women had known very powerful people capable of getting away with a lot of damage. Oldest story of a power struggle: get rid of whoever knows your deepest, incriminating secrets. Considering what both women endured in the s*x trade and that didn't kill them you also have to consider other factors. Both were now facing financial ruin, prison time and harassment from the police and media. The stress from that might cause someone to make an irrational decision like suicide. Police and media harassment is traumatizing enough without the prospect of prison time. Yet, again it could have been a murder from some D.C. big shot who doesn't need the world to know about his personal life. That's how people are and power corrupts people enough to do some really vile acts.
