Any cook books you would recommend?

My daughter is 13 months old and she used to eat anything you would put in front of her, now she is very picky and won't eat a lot of the things she used to eat. I am having a hard time finding things for her to eat, that are still nutritional for her. I am not the best eater. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good toddler cook book? Or any foods for picky eaters?

  1. Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld is really good.  It incorporates vegetable purees into regular recipes.  Some seem logical and others wacky (spinach puree in brownies?!) but apparently everything is supposed to be super-tasty and she uses the recipes with her 3 kids.  There are even tips on how to organize yourself with the preparation and storage of the purees.

  2. There's one I've seen at Wal-Mart called "The Sneaky Chef". I can't remember who the author/contributor is, but it has some WONDERFUL recipes for sneaking in some nutrition for your little ones.

  3. oh I dont use cookbooks but does she eat rice? I know I started getting very creative when I make my rice when my son started getting picky, I put stock in as the water, and then cut up veggies in rough dice and saute them with a tad bit of water to steam them. and them mix them up. kinda like a pilaf, but more creative. Just remember that if you use bell peppers to take the skin off by filleting it or the child wont eat them :)
