Any cool airplane museums in Fort Lauderdale?

I’m going for the weekend and i love planes, especially fire jets... where can i go to see some, like a museum or anywhere with real planes for exhibition?

That location makes it tough, but here goes...  3-hour drive

go to Ft. Lauderdale Intl Airport

why not see the airplanes in their "natural habitat" and not frozen in place? look around, poke around in the civilian hangars, and learn some hands-on stuff, from pilots and mechanics, not from a plaque written by someone who has no idea.
