  1. sushi trains are good.

You could probably do this tapas style?  Just a thought.

(incase you dont know a sushi train is a conveyer belt that goes around to all the seated patrons, and it carries food, and as it goes past, the guests can look and if they like the look, grab it and eat it.  At the end of the meal, the plates are added up and the customer charged. Different colour plates indicate different prices)

  2. I have been to two restaurants in China that had interesting seating. Every table had two swinging benches for seating on either side of the table. I have also seen it in a bar here and loved it. I loved the feeling of lightly swinging while having drinks. It's just secured by regular ropes so you make it swing yourself. Made for a really nice atmosphere.

  3. call some celebrity couple, let them sit very near to eachother, serve them free food(because celebrity never pay).take their videography and publish it on tv

  4. I would suggest an alien / UFO / outer space theme. Make the walls of the interior the colors of the nightsky and paint stars everywhere. Have dark colors with a bright alien green color to contrast. Get some strange / modern looking furniture.

For the menu I would make it simple American food, such as hamburgers, thin and crispy pizza, nachos and cheese, quesadillas, meatball sandiwches with marinara sauce and mozzarella, a fried fish sandwich, and so on. You want the food to be flavorful, but simple, so families with kids will like the food. Make up a crazy name for each dish, such as "Cosmic Pizza", "Nebula Nachos", and "Jupiter Onion Rings". Make the onion rings extra large, because Jupiter is big, get it?

I'd serve regular soft drinks (Coke, Pepsi) as well as Italian sodas (easy to make and people love them) and a full bar for the adults. Plus you should get some quality coffee in there, like Kona coffee from Hawaii.

Maybe you want to put some pinball machines in the restaurant? Ones with a science fiction theme?

Make the employee uniforms look like Star Trek uniforms, sort of. I don't mean copy it exactly, that's plagiarism.

I think the sci fi theme will work great. There's a place in Minnesota that did this very concept and they ended up opening 3 new locations in a few years. They're doing good business with this theme.

If you're going to serve steak, serve steak. Don't get cheap ones, get nice ones. People will thank you for it.

    Good luck.

  5. This is my vision....

-A dark restaurant with bright/flashing red, and green lights

-A place where teens could also go, not just 21+

-Shiny Black tables, with red and lime green chairs

    -Solid Bright Silverware

-Loud Music, maybe even a DJ---cool fast music

-Throw special days at your restaurant ex-theme days

-EXTRA friendly servers----very outgoing and fun

    -Servers could be on rollerskate

-Make special non alc drinks (shirley temples, Straw. daquiries....)

-Have bright red or colorful furniture around the area, and maybe even a dance floor---make sures it's dark w/ lights

-Servers could wear tight, more modern uniforms

Woah! I'd definately go there all the time haha

  6. THe restaurant that keeps me coming back over and over along with all my friends is a restaurant that has a play area for my kids.  I can sit and have lunch and a margarita with my friends while my kids play in a huge sandbox with slides and stuff.  It is a mexican restaurant in Houston and you have to get a table in the bar area to be able to watch the kids while they play.
